Metronidazole and pass through a strainer bacteria

Will this medication slay the BB in my filter? I’m not dosing the reservoir, but rather soaking the food in it. If the say in reply is yes, how can I prevent it?

Thanks!

Not that I’ve experienced no. That was also mixing into the reservoir water as well, rather than medicated food.
