I sweetheart eating and I love drinking booze, with equal rea~n why not combine the two?
I wanted to create something special for the final London Vegan Potluck this week. Four years is a throughout time for a community event and I felt a highest effort for my last supper was in disposition.
The starting point for my Drunk Seitan was this prescription by Vanessa at Essential Vegan. It is completely hassle-eager and I get perfect results every single time.
Vanessa’s recipe calls toward lemon juice which I switched gone ~ for yellow mustard in a force of inspiration, but the vodka condiment was the thing to seal the deal.
Here is in what state I made the sauce:
Combine 1 white iron of chopped tomatoes, 2 cups of vodka, 2 teaspoons of minced garlic (or not so much depending on preference), half a draught of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of love-apple concentrate, 2 tablespoons of chipotle seasoning (or any smoky sauce) and half a cup of sugar (a darker flatter will give a richer flavour while white will be straight up mellifluous).

It was fabulous.
