England’s Richard Partridge held away a final round charge from Cork’s Tom Cleary to claim the Irish Seniors Amateur Open en~ by two strokes in Roscommon.

Cleary turned in three under no more than despite a double-bogey at the par-four 14th, Patridge held on and made equivalence at the last four holes to card a 73 as far as concerns a one over par total of 217.

Bangor’s Garth McGimpsey complete third after a 72  while Skerries’ Mick Ahern, Killeen’s Maurice Kelly and England’s David Lane won the across-60, over-65 and over-70 categories respectively.
