Two the multitude are in Police custody in Chiradzulu in favor of allegedly being in possession of Malawi restraint drugs and equipment belonging to the Ministry of Health.
Chiradzulu Police official Gideon Ngwira confirmed of the exhibition in an interview and identified the suspects of the same kind with Charles Kalulu, 42 and Dickson Matemba, 49.
According to Police, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) was personation on a tip from well-wishers that the brace were selling government drugs in the town and they were arrested.
“We searched Matemba’s firm and recovered hospital drugs and other of medicine equipment,” he said.
Ngwira uttered police recovered 12 sealed bottles of antiretroviral (ARV)drugs, 500 tablets of Flagyl, 750 tablets of paracetamol, two bottles of cotrimazole each containing 750 tablets, 20 tablets of cotrimazole, 12 sealed bottles of Benz Penicillin Sodium Powder conducive to injection each weighing three grammes, 39 syringes (sealed) and sum of ~ units thermometers.
He further said the Police furthermore recovered a bottle containing 750 tablets of cotrimazole and one syringe at Kalulu’s house.
The couple hails from Chiradzulu District.
